Formed in 2016, Parents Action and Resource Centre CIC (PARC) is a community organisation based in Northolt. They are a group of volunteer parents and teachers working collaboratively to challenge inequalities in education. They provide parents with information and advice on school exclusions as well as on closing the attainment gap.
We helped fund their Queen Nzinga Saturday School Club. This project provides weekly three-hour sessions in history English and maths, and through their interactive sessions they incorporate art, drama, storytelling and aspects of the local history of Ealing. We also helped them to develop their proposal, giving it more context and clarity.
