Ealing BMX Club is a vibrant inclusive Club providing affordable BMX sessions for children up to 18, including sessions for riders up to 25 with additional needs (our Wingz BMX group). Funding from the Freshwater Foundation helped add to our range of equipment to meet the needs of the Wingz riders – an adapted trike where balance was preventing involvement and cones, ramps and poles to help riders develop ground skills and confidence. Numbers of Wingz riders grew and the grant also funded an extra coach to meet the extra demand for places. From 12 maximum when they applied for the grant, they now have 20 regular Wingz riders.
